A treat for both player and audience, this tuneful sonata will appeal to young and old alike with its engaging mix of styles. The first movement will remind you of Haydn, whilst the poignant second movement seems to recall CPE Bach, and contrasts well with the romping, jolly finale that pre-echoes Rossini. Originally composed for flute over a figured bass, this adaptation was commissioned by Cat Diamond.
