A must-have for piccolo players! Show off your skills in this fun, lively and entertaining music.
Gennin composed the Merry Brothers in 1928, but this is the first published edition of the sheet music, which has a piano reduction by Roz Trübger. [the orchestral parts can be hired from us]
Notes: Jean Gennin and his brother Pierre were two of the early stars of British Broadcasting with their performances of Jean's works. They were for many years the flute section of the Bournemouth Municipal [Symphony] Orchestra and enormously popular with audiences. Entertainers par excellence, they always included visual gags, such as staging mock sword fights with their flutes during bars rest! Peter Verhoyen & Blaž Snoj are the players in the video.
Or hear Jean & Pierre Gennin in their own sparkling performance recorded in 1930
